Zimbabwean horticulture is built on smallholder farms. Our job is to make sure their harvest reaches the same international shelves the largest estates do — at a fair, verified price.
Zimbabwe’s horticulture sector is dominated, by number, by smallholder farms. Most sell at the farm gate to whoever shows up. Mahogany Growth exists to give those farmers a second option: an honest, documented route to international buyers — with the support, standards and aggregation that route requires.
Smallholder volumes only reach export grade if the standard, the logistics and the price are coordinated. That coordination is what we do.
On-farm guidance aligned to GlobalG.A.P. and buyer-specific standards — so what gets grown is what gets bought.
Access to vetted seed, seedlings and crop-protection inputs — coordinated through producer associations, not handed out.
Pack-house routing, cold-chain handling and consolidated shipping — built so smallholder volume reaches export grade.
Prices are tied to verified export transactions. Farmers see the route their crop took — and the rate it earned.
Twelve horticulture crops are in active scope across our partnerships. Smallholder members are matched to crops based on agronomy, altitude and packhouse access — then aggregated to reach export volume.
